The Retiring Professor — approaching retirement, thinking about possibilities, looking for guidance, and amusing myself with a search for retirement advice while waiting for (something as abstract as) Godet

What does the historian do after she retires?

What does “retirement” signify in the 21st century?

Can history help me understand this brave new world?

  1. Thank you for the post about my father Dale Schaeberle. It was nice to hear once again about the impact that he made on people’s lives. The link is being shared around the family and is posted on our Facebook pages. I hope you are able to enjoy your retirement as much as Dad enjoyed his.
